Can't see my new chord in the custom pallet
I think I've followed the directions for moving a newly created chord diagram to my custom pallet by clicking ctrl/shift and moving the chord diagram into the custom pallet. When I hover over the pallet the name of the chord appears however the chord diagram is not shown. Any help would sure be appreciated.

Which MuseScore version, which OS? Just checked it with version 3.4.2 an OpenSuse; edited a fretboard diagram inside the inspector and moved it via ctrl+shift to the palette. It appears as expected. Maybe steps to reproduce and a screenshot could be helpful.

Hi Kuwitt,
The version is 3.4.2.9 I'm using Microsoft windows 10. Here are the steps I use:
1. Select the chord which is on the song sheet.
2. Click control and shift together while moving the chord to the custom palette. There's a red circle with a line through it as I move the chord to the custom palette which disappears when the chord is in the palette box (there's a "+" sign).
3. When I release the ctrl/shift keys, the chord disappears but when I hover the mouse over the palette, the chord name is displayed.
I've tried putting several chords into this palette and I the names of all the chords are displayed as I hover the mouse over the palette, I just can't see any of the chords.
I've tried to do a screen shot, to no avail.
Thanks for your help.

Don't have really a clue. So it looks for me after adding a fretboard diagram to the palette:

Thanks for the response. I'll keep trying.

My guess is you had applied a manual adjustment to the position of the diagram, and it is trying to display with that same offset in the palette, and that moves it right out of the cell. Try adding it to the palette before applying any manual adjustments. Also consider using style settings rather than manual adjustments.

Hi Marc,
Thanks for the response. I used ctrl K to center where the chord would go then double clicked on any chord in the FB diagram. Next, I modified that chord to the one I wanted and renamed it. Next I used ctrl/shift to move this new chord into a custom palette and it worked! Thanks again for suggesting fixing the position of the chord.
