Yamaha p45 to musescore

Hi everyone,

Just wondering what cable would i require to connect yamaha p45 to my computer which would allow me to use the keyboard for note input?

I just looked it up in the manual, and this keyboard has a USB Type B MIDI port rather than an old-style DIN MIDI jack, so what you will need is a USB cable that has a Type B connector on one end and a Type A connector on the other end (or Type C for the latter if that's what kind of USB port your computer has).

This is the same kind of USB cable used for printers and scanners, so if you have one of those, you can borrow the cable to test and make sure it works before you go out and buy one.
