Dumb question - how do I get a score with a white background (not gray)?

• Aug 23, 2014 - 22:23

I notice that on YouTube Musescore tutorials, the scores being constructed and shown all have nice white backgrounds, whereas when I create a new score, the background is always gray.

I am putting together a set of music instruction videos using examples created with Musescore, and for aesthetic reasons I really need the scores to be created against white backgrounds.

In many cases, my examples are not full scores, but only a couple of measures.

Can someone help me? Is there a way I can make the scores/examples have white backgrounds instead of gray?

I'll appreciate the help.

When you export a score to PDF, it will be white background. If you really want the background on the screen to be white, go to edit ->preferences -> Background.
