Best non-free soundfonts?
Does anyone know where I can find piano and/or orchestral soundfonts that AREN'T free? I want something a bit more high quality than Merlin Gold. Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm bad with tech. 😅 Thanks.

I see that eBay lists some sf2 keyboard fonts for sale. I know nothing of their quality. Have you searched online for something like Payware orchestra fonts?

I have some nice piano ans orchestra soundfonts. Only trouble being they ARE for free.

Scroll down to the Strings, Harps and Orchestra section and download the Nice-Piano-Orchestra soundfont.
There are a lot of expressive instruments with many velocity layers to give full expression as you play.
The file size is 337 mb.

Also check out the new Chateau Grand Piano soundfont (at the bottom of the Piano section) for a nice rich bright tone with 6 velocity layers.
