Imported file has 2 tabs

I have imported a gp5 file into MuseScore.
Why does the MuseScore version have 2 tabs?
As far as I know I only need one.

Thanks again. When I try to open your version, it says that it was created with a newer version of MuseScore. When I do a sudo apt-get install musescore it says that musescore is already the newest version.

I have deleted MuseScore and am downloading the latest version from the link you gave

Yes, parts. Thanks. In the new file there are 2 parts. The 2nd part is like the original gp5 file. In particular the 2 instruments, treble clef and guitar tab are connected, i.e. if I change something on the guitar tab, the corresponding note on the treble clef changes. This is good. On the first part, only the treble clef appears. And if I add the guitar tab instrument, it appears blank and it is not connected to the treble clef. So I would like to delete the first part but when trying to delete it, it only gives the choice of deleting the 2nd part.

Your score has only one part. In MuseScore, there is one tab for the full score - showing all instruments (in this case, there are three total), and one tab for each "part" that was generated from the score. Typically, each part shows a single instrument, so in a score for a rock power trio, you'd have the score showing all three instruments, and three parts - one for guitar, one for bass, one for drums. But it's also possible to create a part that includes multiple instruments. Your score here has only a single part, but that part contains two instruments - the "No More" instrument and the "Acoustic Guitar" instrument. If you don't want that part and only want the score, simply delete the part in File / Parts. Or, if you like how that part looks - you don't actually want to see the Voice instrument - then delete that instrument in Edit / Instruments.
