Problem with styles.
Hi.
I want to "permanently" get rid of bar-numbers in my scores. So I go to Format/Style, bars-numbers and "uncheck" the bar-number box. I save the style under (standard.mss) in the style-directory listed in my preferences. But when I restart Musescore and create a new score the bar-numbers are back! If I load my standard style THEN the bar-numbers disappear. Similar for other settings: My standard style seems not to "count" when starting Musescore. Where am I going wrong?
Kind regards
Erling

Thank's a lot! That one (also) bypassed my attention! (Wonder where I will "stumble" next...!)
Kind regards!
Do you really want the measure numebrs gone for all scores across all ensemble types, though? Even if you orchrat music, etc? That wouldn't be recommended normally. Perhaps you are actually normally creating music with a particular format - all children's piano music, or all lead sheets, or all educational worksheets . In that case, instead of making this a global style, much better to simply save a score set up this way as a template.

Thanks for fedback. I have meanwhile also “tested” using templates instead and will look at that, yes! Points taken!
