How to: Text over barline

I've found this method https://musescore.org/en/node/15177
1. Create a text
2. Right click it -> Text properties
3. Check styled, check frame, click on background color, choose a white, change alpha to 255
4. OK
5. Move on top of a barline

but I get lost at step 3: What exactly am I supposed to check? I can't find those options. 🤔
