im struggling
I've been using muse score for a little bit now. I've written a few cadences. But, i cant figure out how to produce a rim shot on the tenors. Can some one please help with this?

Which soundfont are you using, and which template or instrument are you starting from? The various marching sources and the MDL extension ado feature rim shots. The marching tenor instrument in the default soundfont, has one as the second entry on the palette, shortcut "B", then also higher pitched versions as "D" and "F", and another higher one with no shortcut.
