Continuious view doesnt keep the music on the screen with what is playing

Its completely random. Sometimes the "borders" are waay off the screen. And sometimes it just cuts to the beginning and the playback keeps going where its at. I usually use musescore to play along with and i cant play along with it if whats playing isn't on the screen. the only way to fix it is to mess with the zoom an hope it doesnt go off screen
