Some Engraving Requests
There are a couple things that I would like to see fixed on musescore.
Number 1: Eighths notes in 2/4 and 3/4.
When I place 4 eighth notes in a measure of 2/4, instead of beaming all four eighth notes together like it should be, it groups it into two groups of two. The same thing happens in a measure of 3/4 where it groups it into three groups of two instead of one group of six. I know that it is possible to change this by going to the beaming palette, but things like these should be the default.
Number 2: Text/lines going through barlines.
A lot of times, it is necessary to have text/lines run through a barline. If you just have it collide with the barline, it looks ugly. That's why people often have the barline partly disappear. It's a little hard to explain, so I have attached a picture of what I am talking about. There is no way to do this on musescore that I am aware of, which should be changed.
Number 3: Being able to download external music fonts to musescore.
I am pretty sure that other programs such as Sibelius and Finale allow you to download external music fonts. I would really, really like to see this happen in musescore. As of now, there are only 4 available fonts to musescore. There are dozens and dozens more out there and it would be incredibly useful to be able to download external music fonts.
