Where do I set the Tempo?
When I select Palette => Tempo --- I see 80, Largo, etc.
I can change the Tempo temporarily with View => Play Panel => Note --- and adjust the tempo.
How do I set the permanent Tempo (in BPM)?

Did not realize I can change the number on the sheet. Thanks!
Add a tempo from the palette. You can change the text for the tempo to anything you like. If you keep the note = # in your text, this number will be the new tempo. If you delete that from the text, you can set the tempo by selecting that text and entering a new BPM in the inspector (see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tempo)

I discovered that the key is to place the image on the sheet from Palette => Tempo --- then select the image on the sheet and Tempo Text appears under Inspector. Thanks!
