Lost Progress
I've been working on a new piece and was nearly finished with it, just some minor details to work out. Today I opened musescore 3 to see that about two-thirds of my work is gone- it looks to be the point I stopped at about a week ago, but I've worked since then. I've never had to manually save my work prior to leaving before, should I have? is there any way for me to recover my lost progress?

My guess is that you opened the backup file. If you didn't save the defective file you should have a file with a similar name that doesn't have a . before it's name. Alternatively choose "MuseScore Files" rather than "All supported files" above the Open Button to assure you only have a list of non-backup files.
