first note in a measure not sounding in play back
I have a measure in 4/4 beginning with a dotted eighth 'A' note on a bass clef which won't sound in playback. I'm using an electric bass voice. If I place a 'C' note in its place it will sound.
I thought this worked last week. Can you help?

I always here the A in the attached file in all measures.

I used 3.5 on windows

I tried it here and when I play it, it sounds as expected. That suggests to me there's nothing wrong with the score. I used MuseScore 3.4.2 on Linux/Debian10 to play it, but that shouldn't make a difference.

Thank you both. I changed the bass clef instrument to Elec-Acous Bass from -8 Elec-Acous Bass and it works fine. I appreciate you considering my problem. Thank you.
