Playback issue
Dear Musescore friends.
I got a (very) small playback "problem" when working with a score. (See example attached).
The first way of transcribing sounds OK, but the second way (and the one I have in my 18centry score) sounds "incorrect". They both "derive" from adding grace notes.

Playback timing of grace notes if very subjective and context related. MuseScore uses a very basic interpretation when playing them, which can be fine-tuned using the Piano Roll Editor. See attached example.

I still find it strange that the same notes (presented in two ways), with same grace-note placement gives different playback.,

That is because the length of a grace note is dependent on the duration of the main note it is attached to.

io posso suggerirti questo modo di procedere:
1) Seleziona e rendi invisibili tutto quello che vedi di selezionato nall'allegato 1
2) Seleziona e cambia la forma della testa della nota come nell'allegato 2.
Ti allego anche il file MuseScore modificato così puoi sentire e vedere se tutto è Ok.

questa è la seconda soluzione.
Secondo me qui l'esecuzione della doppia acciaccatura è migliore (è una scelta tua).
Segui bene gli allegati 1,2 e 3 e capirai.
Senti anche il file MuseScore Example(Riffero2) allegato.

I feel your first example is "the best" for playback and "visual presentation".
Another "problem creator": In the Pavane-score there is actually a "tr" over the first note.
That makes the playback a bit more "tricky". The example I attach is my best try!
Here I do not use "grace notes", but normal "small" notes.

Questa Pavane ha un metronomo "semiminima = 80" pertanto il tr che hai messo va bene e devo dire che l'audio è soddisfacente.

Although I see Fauré's Pavane published several times on Musescore, I think I will post "my version", when I am satisfied with my transcription.
