Cannot use multiple instruments on same score
I have a score, and I have added a second instrument. I cannot add notes to the second instrument's measures. I do not know why this is. I can divide the rests into portions, but not add notes.

Attach your score. I can't imagine what you did.
I'm guessing you are in "repitch mode" instead of standard step-time note input mode; see the dropdown next to the note input icon. Or maybe you have voice 1 disabled in the Selection Filter, which doesn't prevent input but does prevent selection of the empty measure.
