How to add capo to guitar tab

I've tried to add a capo to the guitar tab by following this (https://musescore.org/en/handbook/capo-playback), but after setting the capo and having to edit the text, I am unable to do so, making the changes to capo not registered. Is it an issue that some of you are having? Or am I doing something wrongly?
