Removing the numbered voltas from a score.
I am gradually getting the hang of this, but every time I try to change the volta and its number from a stave the notes are deleted as well. How do I remove just the numbered line?
I know it's basic but I can't find the answer in the hand book. Forgive me; I'm 71.

select the volta (not the measure), press Del
Also, make sure you're not talking about tuplets instead, where deleting the number/bracket indeed will delete the notes within it as well: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tuplets
