Change from one staff to grand staff
I am creating a theory test for my university students. In the first part, they are to analyze triads and chords I have written in treble clef (so, one staff per system). In the second part, I want them to perform harmonic analysis of 4-part (SATB) samples (grand staff). How do I change from a single staff to a grand staff in the same document? (I've tried staff-type change, and that does not yield a result I need).

Either use an entirely separate instrument, or add a 2nd staff to the existing instrument (Edit → Instruments…)
Then go to the Style menu and make use of the "Hide empty staves" options
