page view spacing
On continuous view the score appears with ideal spacing and bar width. Switching to page view, the notes spread out leaving only 2, 3 and four bars to each page. The score should fit onto about 12 pages but page view offers 25 or so. All strategies I have tried work on continuous view but don't come back with the switch to page view. Solutions if you please?

It could be you have page breaks you need to delete. If that's not it, then we'd need you to attach the score in order to do more than guess at what might be wrong.
