oops
I inadvertently hit something on my laptop keyboard that made the top line of my score into only one measure.
How can I get the top line of my score back into the beginning mode of four measures?

Probably you hit enter, which adds a line break. Just select the line break (icon above the barline) and delete it.

or select nearly anything in the measure and press return to toggle the system break.
