Slash notation-change rhythmic value?
When writing in cut time (2/2), if I click "fill with slashes" for a certain section, the slashes default to half notes; however, I prefer to have four quarter note slashes per bar, as in 4/4 time. Is there a way to change the rhythmic value of the slashes?

Yes, use a 4/4 time signature

Or, cool trick: select a passage, fill with slashes, Ctrl+X to cut, then Ctrl+Shift+Q to paste half duration, then R to repeat to fill the passage again.
Or another trick, use 4/4 time signature but use Time Signature Properties to make it display as 2/2 or cut.
