Highlight lyrics
Would it be possible to highlight the words or syllables with note as shown in the Attached file
don't want to leave Muescore but really need this option.
Thank You
Kindest regards,
Michael Hofer

You can change the colors on notes and text in MuseScore. It's a two step process though. Select the note change its color then select the text (lyrics in this case) and change its color. Use the inspector (F8) to change the color of something selected. There's a black rectangle next to the Color label that you click to change the color.

Did you get, the circled red in the picture is whats being highlighted as it plays. And is very important to me as I teach music to young students. (Look at att. pic.)
can I do this in musecore?
Thank you kindly

So, if I understand, you would like the color of the syllable to be highlighted during playback, when the cursor highlights the note being played. Something like a cursor (background) for lyrics.

The best way to describe is the pic. Note and lyric are being highlighted at the same time during play. am I clear?
Would gladly talk over the Phone if I'm not clear Sorry

Are you serious, a transatlantic call??
No. there is no phone support, neither here on musescore.org, nor over at musescore.com.
And that to support Noteworthy?
MuseScore can't highlight the currently played lyrics sylable, just the currently played note/chord.

@ michaelhofer, I think the request is clear. But any implementations are dependent on priorities and MuseScore is predominantly notation oriented. You made the request, wait for better answers.

Klingon :-)
There no gendering for "Muttersprache" yet, as far as I'm aware, none of the feminists have yet complained about it (and the men apparently don't really care)

As long as they get to keep the land (in Dutch at least they do: vaderland & moedertaal)

For Vaterland there's a gender neutral Heimatland at least.

No, the picture didn't tell me that the score was being played back. There is a playback cursor that shows what is currently being played, it simply works differently than it does in the other program.
MuseScore does not highlight lyrics during playback.
theoretically this can be done in a plugin

I don't think it can (you can't edit things while in play mode)

How so? :)
