'Single Palette Mode' now unavailable?

The Nightly Build I had been using up until now was quite old, so perhaps the 'Single Palette Mode' feature was dropped a while ago and I never knew it. In any case I found it a very useful option, and I was disappointed not to find it in Beta 1.

It wouldn't restore a functionality that has been removed from the program. Palette operations used to work differently; options were accessed by 'click-and-hold' on the palette title. Those options have now been moved to right-click - which is where 'Single Palette Mode' used to reside - and click-and-hold now does nothing at all.

Actually, 'Reset to factory defaults' also used to be an option for an individual palette via right-click - but I don't think that's what you were referring to.

Are you referring to an option that made it so every time you opened a palette, the previous open palette would automatically close?

I kind of remember seeing that once too, but haven't for a long time that I can recall. Are you saying it used to be in the context menu for the individual palettes?

You described it exactly. My go-to Nightly Build is almost exactly two years old, so the feature could have been changed or removed at any point between then and now. I generally do use more than one Palette at once, but I find that the convenience of having them open simultaneously is outweighed by the inevitable need to keep scrolling the Palette panel to get to the one I need.
