MuseScore and Studio One {DAW)

Hi. I will be buying an audio interface {likely the Presonus 24c bundled with Studio One Artist DAW). Will I be able to export a MuseScore file to the DAW and assign instrument patches to it in the DAW? For instance, would I be able to assign a saxophone patch to a single line composition I made in MuseScore?
