I went back to an old score of mine and added an introduction.
There is no indication of speed on the old score.
But the intro is playing at a faster speed than the rest of the music.
What???

Please attach the actual score if you wish us to be able to figure out what is going on.
After the intro, does the metronome slow down, too?
Could be an invisible tempo marking.
Attaching the score (or the relevant section) would help.

If you mean, you don't remember how to attach a score, just look down while typing your comment here - you'll see the "File attachments" section of the page, and a big blue "Choose a file" button.

Attaching a score is not the problem.
Back then I was told to send a .mscz file so that it could be heard.
Locating that file after clicking on "Choose file" is the problem.

If you can still open the file in MuseScore (from recent files), then you can choose "File > Save a Copy" and MuseScore should default to showing you the current folder the score is in.

I followed your advice and the computer showed the file to be in documents.
But when I click on "choose a file" and go into documents, the file is not there.

If you're on windows, there is an address bar that doesn't always show the complete path. If you click in the window it will show the complete path. You can copy it with ctrl+c (once the entire path is highlighted) then paste it into the address bar for the window that pops up when you click "Choose a file" This should get you to the directory with your file.

Measure #16 shows a tempo change in the uncompressed .mscx file, which does not display in the score because there is no text associated with it so you can't see it nor select it.
To fix:
Enter a new tempo text somewhere, right click then 'Select -> All Similar Elements, press the delete key.
This will delete all tempo markings. Then add back whatever you want.

You'll see nothing highlighted on the score, but the status bar indeed shows that you have a tempo text there.

A teenager showed me how to copy the .mscz file (from scores) and put it in a more convenient place.
I put it in music and when I click " choose a file " it appears.
I followed your advice and fixed the tempo problem.
Now I have submitted the "fixed" file.
Is it ok now?
