can't install plugin

Hi everyone
-trying to install plugin Jianpu_Numbered_Notation_v1.qml
-MacOS Catalina 10.15.7
-Musescore 3.5.2.312126096
-put it in folder Documents/Musescore3/Plugins as per instructions
-reloaded plugins: nothing
-restarted computer: nothing
-ran plugin creator and got error message:
Creating component failed
line 26: module "MuseScore" version 1.0 is not installed
-I went to line 26 and changed the version number to the installed version 3.5.2.312126096 and got another error message:
line 26: Expected token `;'
line 26: Expected a qualified name id

I would appreciate some help. thanks
