Going back to score as active or selected area after closing panel

Hi!
When I tweak something in the mixer, or play panel, and then I close it and press space bar for play, nothing happens, since the last selected active thing is in the panel just closed. Then one has to press somewhere in the score canvas for it to react to the play command. Would it not make more sense to automatically go to the score as selected /active area upon closing a panel?
