End pedal on a note/chord (playback)

TLDR : Want the last chord of a pedalled section to be clear in playback

This is less of an essential issue, but rather just for a more accurate playback of my compositions. Sometimes when I have pedal, I want it to be lifted on a certain note (not changed, just lifted). Musescore lets me lift it before or after the note, or change it on the note, but not just lift it on the note. I can drag the pedal in order to make it visually match what I am looking for, but it seems there should be a way to do it properly that I'm missing.

I have tried the straight up pedal as well as the angled pedal (see attached photos), in case that helped. The angled pedal does sit automatically under the note, but it still doesn't actually lift the pedal until after the chord is played.
