Scaling the view up for an external TV monitor

Hi Team. I've started running my laptop through a TV. Unfortunately Musecore doesn't scale up to suit the dimensions of the TV. The other prgrammes I run are ok, so I'm confident it is not th settings on either the TV or the laptop. Can anybody assist me wioth this. The new laptop I'm using is an HP Optus with AMD Ryzen 7. Some of my research suggests they may have different display properties or processes to other CPUs like Intel i5 & 7, and Mac, but I'm not a techie guys that is not really much help to me. TIA
