How do I decrease the distance between staves.
I'e been using Musescore for some time and 5 staves have always taken up about 2/3 of a folio page. I updated yesterday, and the distance between staves has increased by abouut 25% so that my 5 staves now fill the page. How can i return to the original setting?

We should see the mscz file, but try Format/Page Settings->Scaling.
That is the new vertical alignment option in Format > Style > Score
For the record, this is to make the music more like traditional printed music, where staves are normally spread to fill the page. You can still get more than 5 staves on the page, the space will automatically adjust as necessary.
But if you have some particular reason to want to see the empty space at the bottom of the bage, just turn off the vertical justifications setting mentioned above.
