Musescore 3.6
I've just downloaded and installed v3.6 but it doesn't seem to have over-written my previous version (3.3.4.9134). Now I see 2 programmes in my list of Apps (windows 10), Musescore and Musescore BBVA.
Do I remove one? If so, which?

It is BVBA, not BBVA, and that's the one to keep, the other is probably from the Microsoft Store (which does install into a different place) and hasn't been updated since long, see #313298: MuseScore in Microsoft Store is outdated, still at 3.3.4; remove link on Download page
