Special characters in filepath causes bug when double clicking the score file
MuseScore just won't open a .mscz file if it is contained within a folder that has diacritics in it's name. So, I can not double-click the file and have it open with any version of MuseScore, because it gives me the File too large error which I have reported also in an other thread, and so I have to manually start MuseScore and hit open and to the file I want opened, which is pretty dang annoying.... Could you guys please fix this in a future release?
Diacritics are special characters such as these: şţăîâ ŞŢĂÎÂ
Comments
Reproduced with r2168 on Win Vista.
- create sub dir in the musescore demo folder named ' şţăîâ ŞŢĂÎÂ'
- place a mscx or mscz file into the directory
- double click
Result: see screenshot attached
