Change both Clef and key signature at the beginning of a measure
How can I change both the clef and key signature in a single measure? When I change them using the palette, The key signature shows before the clef and the notes in the key signature relate to the original clef in the piece.

Normally a clef change would appear before the measure, and MuseScore does this if you select the measure itself when adding the clef. If you are seeing something else happen, we'd need you to attach the your score and explain in more detail what you are trying to do and what is going wrong.

Thanks. See attachment. Ignore everything except look at measures 12, 13, 15 and 18. The key signatures are not positioned correctly for the new clef. Also for measures 12-16 the placement of the changed clef varies. This is for Theory homework.

Look at measures 14, 16, 17, 19, and 20. The clef appears before the measure and key signature change.
For measures 12, 13, 15 and 18 you must select the measure itself (don't select a note/chord). When the measure becomes highlighted with the blue selection rectangle apply the clef from the palette. This will place the clef before the measure and the key signature change.
You can then delete the (now unnecessary) clefs that remain inside those measures.

Indeed, as mentioned, you should be adding your clef changes to the measure, not to the first note. Same, for that matter, for key signatures - I see a couple of places where you seem to have added them to a single note (and thus it appears on that staff only).
Also, FWIW, I'd normally recommend adding horizontal frames between each example; it helps with readability and understanding where one stops and the next starts. But if you are working from a given empty score and you were just supposed to fill in the answers, then maybe not.

Thanks. That worked.
