Deleting barlines

I want to turn 24 bars' worth of bass ostinatos I wrote for "All Blues" (M. Davis) into a more-correct 12 bars. Is there a way to delete barlines, before rewriting the note values?

Yupper, that worked but now it's not the correct, original time sig. I wrote the thing in 3/4, which gave me a chorus of 24 measures; original is in 6/8 and 12 bars - a standard blues form. But changing from 3/4 to 6/8 doesn't change the number of bars, whereas changing to 12/8 does as you said - thank you! - but it's not "authentic." I thought that since you can alter barline types easily enough, you could just delete them as well, and then correct note values.
Jeetee if you're still with me the .gif below shows what I need; the musescore chart is what I have: double the measures, double the note values. Of course it won't kill me to just rewrite the thing from scratch, just wondering about those barlines . . .
Thanks again!
