Score causes crash as soon as it loads

I was working on a cadence in MDL. I had a 4 measure section in the middle that repeats, and I wanted to add some bars before it. I clicked on the first bar of the repeated section, and pressed insert on my keyboard to add a measure before, and the program crashed. I opened it again and it asked if I wanted to restore my previous session and I clicked yes and it crashed again. I tried again and chose no and it once again crashed (I have the setting to open the same scores that were opened in the previous session enabled). When I opened musescore and chose yes to restore previous session it opened without any scores open. When I tried to open the score I was working on, it once again crashed.
