I think Marc suggested I place this feature request here. I am suggesting that you make it possible to open the inspector from the right click context menu. Marc had suggested that a separate button on the toolbar might be better because it would be more discoverable. However I disagree. A separate button would require I shift my eyes to find it even if it is on the screen at the time. Then I would have to reposition the cursor to click the button. Two things that would defeat the purpose of trying to make the inspector easier to access. Placing an “Open Inspector” selection in the context menu (after selecting the item I want to inspect) would be much easier. And also much easier than shifting focus to the keyboard shortcut since I am already using the mouse to select the item.

Thanks for your consideration.

I would say that you haven't really disagreed about discoverability - there is no denying a visible button is more discoverable to most people than something that requires you to learn what "right-click" is (completely foreign to a large percentage of users, many have literally never heard of this). But it is true that right-click can in many cases be more usable for those people who are "in the know", for the reasons you cite. No reason it couldn't eventually be both.
