entering notes in a new line
So I'm running into a weird problem. I just copied and pasted a section. Then I started to enter notes into a separate line. It immediately automatically entered rests in the section I pasted. I've never had that happen before. What's going on?

Open the drop-down list of N and check which mode you are using, see: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/note-input#note-input-modes
Specifically, you probably want to be in the default step time input mode unless you have a special reason to want to be in a different one.
