Just select the 8th and change to a 32nd, repeat for the 16th that shows

This forces the tuplet to be incorrect, in my experience. More accurately said, it keeps the correct number of 32nds, but the beaming is in groups of two by virtue of the manner of diving secondary beams. So maybe the real question is how to get secondary beams to show the tuples in use.
