Non Octave-Repeating Scale

• Apr 15, 2021 - 02:11

Hi,

I've been dipping my toe into the xenharmonic/microtonal universe.

I realize that DAWs or other software provide a means to compose but, for one particular scale, I'd prefer to use MuseScore. Unfortunately, playback is an issue. I know it's possible to modify or recreate one of the existing plugins, but they change the tuning of individual notes after they've been input. This seems less than ideal.

The scale I'm most interested in exploring is a non-octave-repeating scale with only 12 notes. Is there some way to globally redefine the pitches of all 88+ notes so that they play back at the desired pitch while entering the notes?

Thanks!
