Esp. the link at the bottom, where it says "For more detailed instructions that also provide better integration with ChromeOS
One thing to be aware of: you will have to hope your school administrators have approved use of Linux apps, otherwise you won't get very far. Your other option then would be to checkout the RollApp facility, which makes MuseScore available in a cloud-based form. But much better if you can use Linux apps on your Chromebook. Also, it does need to be an Intel-compatible Chromebook in order to use recent versions of MuseScore - there is unfortunately no official ARM build of anything from the past several years.
