Inserting page breaks?
Is there a way to insert page breaks where you want them in a part or score (to minimize the inconvenience of page turns, for example)?
Thanks in advance...!

Sure, same as in a word processor, Ctrl+Enter (after selecting the location where you want the break to happen). Or use the Breaks & Spacers palette.

I think you misunderstand. Yes, that does insert a "page break" icon, but it has no effect on the rendered or printed layout. It just adds a little "page" icon to the end of the staff, which does nothing.
OP is asking how to force the staff to begin rendering on a different page.

? Adding a page break most certainly does actually start the music on the next page . Unless you’re in continuous view, I guess, in which course of course it doesn’t.
If you have a score where page breaks aren’t behaving as you expect, please attach it here and describe exactly where the problem occurs.

I think I might have figured this out. After inserting the page break, you have to switch to Page View at the bottom. Then I think it will display and print correctly.
I've just started using Musescore myself. It's a very powerful software tool but not intuitive.
