How to copy/paste only voice 2

In a measure with [say] 2 voices, copying the measure copies voices 1 & 2. When it is pasted, it pastes over both voices. Unless I am missing something. This problem was solved in Finale by having a "Show Only" voice. In normal mode, selecting a measure copy/pasted all the voices. In the 'Show Only' mode, only the selected voice was copied [and pasted].
