I can't see my MIDI controller in Preferences-I/O

I just got a MIDI controller (Novation LaunchKey mk3). It seems to work with the bundled Ableton Lite software, and is visible in Windows Device Manger, but I can't seem to use it in MuseScore 3. When i go to Preferences > I/O, with the Port Audio radio button selected, I do not see the device pop up under MIDI input no matter which API I select, and I tried Jack Audio server which did not work either.

Any ideas?

EDIT - I don't know I did it exactly... but I got it to show up under MME after restarting the program.

This is happening to me too. MuseScore used to be able to see my Midi devices. Now all the other software can see the midi devices, and MuseScore 3.6.2 cannot. Windows 11.

I'm not sure what file to attach. It would be a picture of the MuseScore Preferences dialog box, the I/O tab with nothing proposed in the Midi input list, even though I have two midi controllers. They are LaunchKey 37 and PreSonus AudioBox 96 midi input.
