MIDI Routing and MIDI Control

Hi,
I have two questions:

  1. I would like to know if there is any way to routing MIDI output in Musescore. For example, I have four instruments in my score and I want to use the score to play four external synths. But I want the first instrument MIDI output don't be 1, but 5, for example. Is there any way to do it?

  2. I would like to use MIDI control function for control parameters in this synth. For example, if I use a crescendo in the score, it can be used to control a parameter in the synth.

You can set the MIDI channel for each instrument in View / Mixer, I think that does what you want.

Crescendos etc should work fine via MIDI. Be aware of your settings in View / Synthersizer / Dynamics and whether your staves has "single note dynamics" enabled - you need to decide if you want velocity to be the control over volume or use CC messages as MuseScore does by default for instruments that are actually capable of it (eg, not piano), and be consistent about it.
