How to shift notes into the centre of the measure?
Hi I have input a whole tone chord into the staff but would like to have it in the very centre of the measure not to the very left. How can this be done?

That would not be correct notation and would just confuse people reading it. A measure rest is centered to show an empty measure, but a note must start at the left if people are to understand it is played at the beginning of the measure.
On the other hand, if this isn't meant to be read as normal music but is just an educational resource showing a theoretical concept and not meant to actually be counted normally, you could certainly choose to center it. Just use the horizontal offset in the Chord section of the Inspector to move it to the right. You'd probably want to to do the same for the chord symbol.
