Adding notes that do not trigger a sound

I'm new to Musescore and loving how much it can do! One thing that I need to find is how to write a note that does not trigger a playback sound. For example, I need to write a marimba part that momentarily switches to a suspended cymbal roll for a few counts. I really don't need to hear the sound on playback, so I don't even want to do an instrument change. In sibelius I would usually just change the notehead and it would not trigger playback of the pitch I was using to indicate the cymbal.

Is there a way I can do something similar on Musescore?
