Music to be scored but question with privacy
Hi
I have been a past customer of your and have always been very pleased with your work.
I have noticed that a song I once requested to be scored was Drifting by Harry Connick Jr.
I later notice it is on your site as a song that can be purchased. I have nor problem with that at all.
This is not a complaint.
My question is a friend has given me the audio to a song he has composed and I would like to use your service to have it scored/notated however as this is a private piece of music I need to be assured that it will not be made available to anyone else at any future time.
In fact after I payed for it, wait for the sheet music and then print it out would you be able to delete the file?
Thank you for your service
Jeremy

Drifting is a copyrighted song. That's why the .com site has to charge. Here on the .org site there is no charge for anything. I.E. you can use the free MuseScore notation software as you wish. Two different sites.
No single song can get purchased, niether here on musescore.org, not over at musescore.com
The only thing that can get purchares is a Pro account on musescore.com and along with that the right to download scores that are neither Public Domain not Original Work.
If you upload a score to musescore.com, it is at your discretion whether you want it public or private (or unlisted). This is entirely unrelated to whether ot not you have a Pro account.
What is related though is, if you make a score public, whether you can prevent it from getting downloaded, that is a Pro-only feature
