Spacing above opening system
Hi everyone,
I have a score which has two systems per page, except for the first page which, due to the titles and credits etc, is better served with just one system. I want to make space above the first stave, between the music and the title, so that the single system is more centralised. I'm trying to do it with spacers on the first stave but with no joy. I'd appreciate advice. Thank you, Dan

Spacers should do the trick. If not please share the score

Hi Jojo, thank you for answering. Here's a screenshot of pages 1 and 2. You see there's a big gap under system 1 on page 1. Which spacer should I use? I tried palettes - beaks and spacers - stave spacer up - put that on the top stave, dragged the arrow upwards but nothing moves.

I don't see any spacer.
And that'd not the score, just an image of it

But I see that spacers don't work here, not above the 1st system. Seems a bug, and one that got reported ages ago, see #47641: Frame stops Upwards staff spacer from working
You can increase the title frame's height (so that the music moves down).
...or...
You can increase the frame's 'Bottom Gap'

I recommend the bottom gap. Changing the height of the frame will affect all elements within the frame, so for instance the composer info will move with the frame bottom.
