when add new instrument, is it possible change it so that new instrument goes bottom of the list

Normally you wouldn't want instruments to just go to the bottom of the list unless you are extremely careful to always enter your instruments in exactly the correct order. But MuseScore knows a lot about standard score ordering conventions and can put things in the proper order for you even if you enter things out of order. So everything should be already added correctly. just be sure to use the dropdown at the top of the instruments dialog to select between the available orderings - orchestral, choral, jazz, etc.

Hi Marc

Sorry, i mislead you, i ment playback synthesiser soundfonts. If i want to add a new soundfont
it goes top of the list and then if i don't want to re arrange all my score settings i have to move it bottom.
Problem is that it takes about 30s to do, it would be easier if it goes to bottom as default.

The reason it doesn't go to the bottom by default is that normally if someone adds a soundfont, it's because they want it to replace the default, and that requires it being at the top. It seems MuseScore 4 will have a totally new synthesizer section, so chances are this will work differently.. But I'm not sure how.
