The attached xml file is created by music21 and constructed with a bunch of ChordWithFretBoard objects.
When imported, the fretboard diagrams shows undesired 'x' on 0th fret even this string is freted.
Finale display the same xml file correctly

Indeed a duplicate issur of https://musescore.org/en/node/320573. Downgrading to 3.5.2 solved this and another TextExpression not aligned issue. Thanks alot sir!
So it'll be fixed in MuseScore 4
A fix for MuseScore 3 is part of https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/9000, but most probably there will be no further official 3.x
